Race Day Schedule:

Saturday, March 30, 2013

8:00 am 5K and Veggie Chase – outrun the Official Veggie Chase veggies for a chance to win an iPad®
9:10 am Kids Warm-up
9:15 am ¼ mile Kids' Fun Run (5 yrs & under)
9:20 am ½ mile Kids' Fun Run (6-10 yr olds)

Where:

Rotary Grove
Elk Grove Regional Park, Elk Grove, CA Get Directions/Map. Please note: The main park entrance will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic. Drive PAST the main park entrance on Elk Grove-Florin Road and turn into the overflow parking lot on the right.

Course:

Scenic, flat and fast route beginning and ending in the park featuring a new Start and Finish at Rotary Grove. See the course map for detailed route information.

Why:

To benefit the Northern Area Dietetic Association (NADA) and its grant funded programs to fight childhood obesity.

Buzz Oates RunSac Race Series

We are proud to be one of the fourteen races on the Buzz Oates RunSac Race Series – an exciting, new age-graded grand prix competition in the Greater Sacramento area.

5K Divisions:

12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the overall male & female winner and masters (age 40 and over) male & female winner and top three in each age category.

 

All kids’ race participants will receive a finisher’s medal.

From Highway 99, take the Elk Grove Blvd exit and head east (approximately 1 mile). Make a right turn onto Elk Grove-Florin Road. On Elk Grove-Florin Road, drive PAST the main park entrance, and turn into the overflow parking lot on the right. The main park entrance will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic. Get Directions/Map
